The True Life Story of Farooq Ali - Part 2 - Jealousy & Drama
*REMEMBER - THE PANDA 🐼 ISN'T ALWAYS BLACK & WHITE*
I am the youngest born when the patriarch of the family was 55 years of age.
Even though there was a 15 year gap between Farooq and I - we were always close. Closer than any other who dreamed to be. (more on this later)
Farooqs fees for Bradford Grammar School was paid for by our father who worked tirelessly in the Wool Mills from 1989. Farooq was only 12 years of age when he was admitted to Bradford Grammar School. He was truly gifted and talented. The first child in the family to attend a private school.
But wait.. While the news of his admittance to a renowned private school brought great happiness to some, they were others who saw it as competition. Even those close to home - 🐼 - revelations later revealed that jealousy can linger in the blood.
Those individuals laughed and said Farooq would achieve nothing. A waste of money to spend on education. It was sad to hear those stories. He was only 12 and it should have been considered a blessing. (more on this later)
Farooq did his work experience at Watson Wood Accountants in Bradford which is now known as Watson Buckle Accountants.
Farooq was told by the patriarch of the family that he achieved disappointing GCSE results of only 1A*, 6As & 2Bs. Farooq told me personally he had become over-confident and laid back through his teenage years. A typical 16 year old teenager behaving 'odd' which of course is entirely natural.
Through his A-Levels he managed to make everyone proud by achieving 3As in Geography, Maths and Biology in 1995. (Farooq became obsessed with Geography - find out why later). (His CV will be published later)
Farooqs education might have come to an end at Bradford Grammar School but everyone from his teachers at school and his father knew that Farooq was meant for something greater.
